I traded in my 2007 Tahoe (who I regarded an old friend) with 221,500 miles for a new Silverado 2500 pickup. The whole process was amazingly simple. The staff at 1st State Chevrolet was amazing. We were on our way home from vacation shortly before 5 PM and had the alternator go out in my Suburban. I pulled in to the dealership and they didn't hesitate one bit to get my family and I diagnosed and on our way. They were extremely accommodating to my wife, daughter, dog and I when we were in a pinch and for that we are extremely grateful, especially for getting us in and out in 45 minutes. We don't live in the area, but for anyone that does, I would very much recommend 1st State Chevrolet to anyone.
Took truck in for repairs. After having it for two days was told it was repaired. Truck now has a whistle sound in it. Took it back and they wanted to keep it for 4 days. Unacceptable. Since one of the repairs was connected to brakes, couldn't even get the service manager to get up from his computer screen to listen to see if this was going to be a safety issue. All he was concerned abut was that the check engine light wasn't on. Then he said leave on the following Tuesday. I guess he didn't want me to go to Thanksgiving.
Yep, my bill was twice the estimate of another company. However, I was treated well and got my car back right away. Enterprise car rental is next door if you need to rent a car.. I'm willing to pay more for convenience and great customer service. I want the job done fast, done right and I want to be treated well.
