I go here periodically if I'm craving a home.cooked.meal.and too lazy to cook it myself. Service always good. Food is hit or miss. Most of the time it's really good but every now and then there's a rough day. There's a few waitresses that stick around but as for.the others I hardly see the same waitress twice. But every one I do see is very kind and helpful. The menu is very large and they have a something for everyone. Not a huge dining area but they do have pick-up.
Fantastic spot for any meal of the day if you're looking to keep things basic and local. I've personally been coming here at least once a week for the past couple years, in total I've been a customer for about 8 years. Anyone complaining about the occasional fly, cool, it's an establishment with food. A fly will get in here or there. I think I had a fly bug me during a meal maybe once or twice throughout 2017. Fact of life. You'll have flies in McDonalds, Applebee's or even 1776 Steakhouse. Get over it. Food occasionally bland? It's diner food, find something else you like if your home fries are bland. Add some salt/pepper. Almost any basic meal here is under $8. Don't be a complaining snowflake. Otherwise very relaxing "hometown diner" atmosphere with lots of friendly locals.
I've been to harvest over 20 times (not lying) and every time I've been there, I have never had a bad meal. The waitresses are always super nice and always cater to your needs. My friends and I have never had a bad meal here. If you're looking for a good meal, this is the place!
